So, how long have you been a designer???  Missed your chance to test your skills on the NCIDQ?  ASID Texas Gulf Coast Chapter Student Career Day will be a great opportunity to see what is new in the world of interior design.  Not new products or new services by new designers.  Emerging professionals, finishing their design education, will be seeking their niche in one of the many facets of the interior design profession.  You are cordially invited on April 18, to come see what these soon to be professionals have to offer. 

A full day of activities is planned for the students at Houston Design Center, 7026 Old Katy Road.  The morning begins with a speaker series.  Designers and Industry Partners will present topics relevant to embarking on a new career in interior design.  Following lunch, from 2:00 to 4:00, graduating students from Texas Gulf Coast Chapter Schools will be displaying portfolios and providing resumes for potential employers.  Guided tours of showrooms in the Houston Design Center will also be provided for undergraduates during the afternoon session
