Nancy Walker, Messina Hof Winery and Resort, Marketing coordinator, (979) 778-9463, walker@messinahof.com Taryn is dependable, eager to learn, and has a positive attitude. She has an enormous aptitude for seeing a task through to completion Taryn takes very thorough notes, and has been good in following up with her off site event to ensure that all of their needs are met. She is also very good at prioritizing her tasks and ensuring that the most urgent things get completed in a timely manner. Taryn is very comfortable on the phone and has built her confidence in writing press releases. She gets along well with everyone in the office and on property, and has been great at asking for help on tasks that she is unsure of how to properly complete. Taryn has strong written and oral communication skills. Taryn has great creativity. She was put in charge of a centerpiece for a table at the TTIA Unity Dinner in Austin. This is one of our regular customers and she got a glowing letter of thanks back from the dinner coordinators for the centerpiece and all of her hard work. Taryn has a great attitude and a willingness to take on even the biggest projects. She is very personable and approachable and that is an enormous asset in this industry. She is also good at taking phone messages.

Tracy Ashcraft, Kanakuk Kamps, Women's Director (417) 266- 3000, trashcraft@kanakuk.com Taryn was a phenomenal counselor. I would gladly hire her back. At the end of each counselor session, I am given the ability to give a small bonus to the top four or five staff members (out of about 40 counseling staff). Taryn received one of these bonuses. She was very thorough, detailed, responsible, caring, and engaged in her counselor duties. She required little to no maintenance and I always felt I could trust Taryn with an assignment. She gets it done. I was able to view her organizational skills, and I would rank them as quite high. She is thoughtful and contemplative in her organization. She doesn't miss details. She doesn't make rash decisions, and she doesn't overreact. Taryn easily won the respect of those around her. She works well with others because she senses an equality among everyone. She appears more reserved at first, but does not take long to open up. She works well with people because you know she will do what she says she is going to do, and will speak honestly. >From what I have viewed of Taryn's communication skills, she is thorough and thoughtful in communicating, just like other aspects of her personality. If asked directly and given the chance to fully explain herself or an idea, she will have no hesitancies. . She is not easily rattled, is detailed in her explanations, and follows through in communicating. Taryn demonstrated great creativity in her work. Taryn is a fabulous team player and respects authority. I highly value those who are able to serve on a team, and not just as a leader, but as a subordinate as well. If you truly know the value of following, then you know the value of leading and respecting all members of team. Taryn does that. She will be the steady rock of the group under pressure.

Donna Gass, Accounts Payable Manager, Powertherm Inc. (713) 682-6777, donna@powertherm.com Taryn was a good assistant for everyone when she worked here during the summers. She is good at multi-tasking, and has good organizational skills. Her job was to greet people when they came in, answer the phone, file, and misc. paper work. Taryn has a wonderful personality and is capable of doing any task that is handed to her. Sharon Newton, Teacher (979) 229-6721, snewton@csisd.org
