As my résumé reflects I am currently holding three positions, two in the design field and a third long-term position I have held throughout my education. I am dedicated to achieving my goal of becoming a licensed Interior Designer and continue to hone my skills and increase my overall knowledge including my proficiency in kitchen and bath design. I am currently studying for the NKBA-AKBD certification (National Kitchen and Bath Associations'-Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer), as well as pursuing my Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS) and LEED-AP certification. My ultimate certification will be realized upon passing the NCIDQ (National Certification Interior Design Qualification) examination next year. I am passionate about Interior Design; I possess knowledge, maturity, and dependability that comes with being an older than average entry level designer. I have waited years to live my dream of becoming an Interior Designer. I am equally passionate about both residential and commercial design; I enjoy the relationships formed with the residential clients and the reward of satisfying their dreams; while commercial design offers different challenges, the solutions have a greater impact on more people Please review my portfolio by visiting my web site at www.michaelpaulcunningham.com where you may review examples of my AutoCAD abilities, my interest in quilting, drawing and photography. The site also exhibits my abundant talent in space planning, rendering, perspective, and presentation boards. Letters of recommendation may also be found by selecting the résumé link.
