I have strong sales, organizational and design project management skills combined with well developed problem solving skills to address any unexpected issues.  My management capabilities, visual/design skills and attention to detail enable me to successfully execute plans and meet deadlines.

While working at Macy’s, I demonstrated my sales, marketing, project management and financial skills by managing a $10 Million advertising budget and coordinated sales events, product placement in stores and the details of direct mail, catalogs and newspaper ads to meet deadlines and surpass sales goals.
As a Macy’s Visual Merchandising Coordinator, I utilized my project management, design and team management skills to plan, design and coordinate the installation of store merchandise floor plans to maximize sales and provide a consistent standard.

At Chantal Cookware, I managed product branding, marketing collateral, advertising, trade shows, new product launches, the website and placements in trade and consumer magazines and on social media sites.   In addition, I have some interior design experience.  I was a Senior Designer focused on planning, selling and executing designs for residential interiors at The Design Firm.

Managed Men’s and Fine Jewelry advertising accounts with a budget of $10 Million.  Oversaw advertising copy and design ensuring creative concepts were accomplished. Built and maintained vendor relationships, negotiated agreements, retained funding and met printing timelines.
  • Partnered with Men’s Senior Merchandise Manager to review and develop 36 direct mail and 250 newspaper ads annually.  Collected $7.2 Million in cooperative funding, identified key items and capitalized on all advertising opportunites.
  • Re-energized Jockey and Gold Toe Sales resulting in 56%, $6.1 Million increase by adding two events.  Focused 25% of advertising content on national and seasonal events and optimized prices versus the competition.
  • Accelerated advertising turnaround 70% by creating a project schedule and ensuring deadlines were met by following up with the 40+ buyers. 

Central Customer Service Manager     1996-1999

Collaborated with store managers and staff to improve customer service levels.  Trained and motivated area sales managers to improve customer service and productivity.

Maximized sales by communicating visual merchandising standards in 51 Foley’s stores.  Directed current trends and practices by drafting floor plans, coaching store teams and implementing merchandise statements in 8 new and 20 remodeled stores in 6 years. 
  • Planned, coordinated and installed 1992-1994 Christmas Shops in 49 stores.  Led a team of 11 contract trimmers producing $5 Million in sales during September – December.
  • Developed and produced a Trim-A-Home instructional video for the Christmas Shops.  Recipient of the fall 1992 Visual Award for Trim-A-Home department’s elaborate and consistent presentation.
