Q: How do I apply for membership? A: You can apply by downloading a membership application or by calling the ASID Industry Partners Department at (202) 546-3480. Ready to join now? Look in the Quick Links area right of page to download the Industry Partner Membership Application now.
Q: Who should I list as the main representative of the company? A: The main representative of the company can be anyone from the general manager of the company to the president. The main representative is responsible for the company's membership dues and for any additions or changes made to that membership.
Q: When do I send membership dues? A: Membership dues should accompany your application. Once your first year's membership dues have been applied, you will receive invoices for subsequent membership years in the fall.
Q: What are additional representatives? A: Additional representatives are members added to a company's existing membership category.
Q: How much does it cost to add an additional representative? A: The annual membership fee for an additional representative is $150 per person
Q: Where do I send the application for processing? A: All completed applications and checks for membership should come directly to ASID headquarters and NOT to the chapter offices. You can fax your application with credit card payment to (202) 546-3240 or mail applications with payment to ASID Attention: Industry Partners 608 Massachusetts Ave. NE Washington, DC 20002-6006
Q: How long does it take to process an application? A: It takes from two to three weeks to process the application once it is received at ASID headquarters.
Q: How long does it take to receive my new member kit? A: It takes about two weeks after the approval date to receive your new member kit.
Q: Once I am a member, how do I get involved with my local Chapter? A: Your chapter will contact you shortly after you receive your new member kit. However, please do not hesitate to initiate the contact as soon as you receive notification of membership acceptance. Q: How do I purchase a mailing list of ASID members? A: There are two options for purchasing a mailing list. The first option is to call our list management company, In Focus, at (800) 708-5478 and ask for Jessica Narim. In Focus can assist you with mailing lists both large and small. Industry Partner companies receive a 20% discount on mailing lists purchased through In Focus. The second option is to contact the administrator from the chapter whose list you would like to purchase. Contact information for all ASID chapters is available on the chapter locator page. Please note that it is Society policy that we do not sell the e-mail addresses, phone or fax numbers of our members.
